Structuring Regional Adaptation Boards within Climate Innovation Hubs
The Regional Adaptation Board (RAB) Booklet is developed as a roadmap to establishing a Regional Adaptation Board - and related Climate Innovation Hub (CIH) - in each of the six Demonstrator and Replicator project sites. Its structure, set of guidelines, and recommendations are designed to be applicable across socio-economic and ecological contexts, geographies, and sectoral challenges, with the aim to support and facilitate the establishment of collaborative governance structures that enable inclusive, place-based, and locally led climate adaptation processes.
The Deliverable (D2.1) provides a broader overview of the methodology development and its implementation within the SystR context. The insights and lessons learned throughout the project will be consolidated and used to further refine the methodology for future applications.
Future users of this methodology may be municipalities, public authorities, and third sector organisations willing to activate and establish inclusive, multi-stakeholder collaborations for local climate adaptation.
