This document provides the foundational territorial knowledge base that underpins the analytical, governance, financial and participatory components of the SystR project. It consolidates essential information on the ecological, social, economic and governance characteristics of the six Demonstration and Replication (D&R) sites.
This consolidation is not merely descriptive: it is a structured, systemic account of how local systems function, interact and respond to climate pressures. The regional reports therefore serve as a critical entry point to the SystR architecture, ensuring that subsequent modelling, stakeholder processes and governance innovations operate with grounded, coherent and comparable baselines.
